MEET NIKKI
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist
I have always loved fitness and exercise. I played multiple sports growing up and always stayed active through college and starting my career as a teacher. I picked up a love for running; completing several half marathons. After having my first child, I decided to resign from teaching to stay at home and take care of my babies. After staying at home with my two sons for five years, I found myself lost, struggling and feeling isolated at home.
I started joining group workout classes to start exercising consistently (and they had childcare!), but what I didn't realize was how much I needed community just as much as exercise. Working out with other women helped me so much physically, but most importantly, mentally. I then took an opportunity to be a trainer and have never looked back!
Combining 4 years of leadership experience leading a church campus with my husband, Sam, with my love for teaching, along with my love for fitness and community, I found myself driven to get certified and open my own studio! I now have five years experience in the fitness industry! I truly feel like I have stepped into what God has called me to do- open NUMA to help move our community forward physically, mentally, and spiritually! I could not be more honored to serve our community in this way or more proud of what NUMA is and all we stand for!
MEET KELLY
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
I always wanted to be a personal trainer, but my heart was really in group fitness. I was so excited to join Numa as it gives me the perfect blend of both. I get to give my members the fun, encouraging community feel in our small classes but I also get to give them the one on one attention they deserve. I'm very passionate about designing workouts and making sure they are fun, functional creative and challenging. Oh - and great music is a must!
"I began taking yoga classes in college for relaxation and fitness. After graduating, I interned at camp and retreat center where I started to dream of becoming a yoga teacher. I began to train and study yoga instruction. I received my RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 hours of study) in March 2017. Since then, I have been sharing the joy of yoga at retreats, Stubborn German's 'Bend at the Brewery', and within rented spaces. I am thrilled to be part of Numa Fitness!"

MEET LEAH
MEET SAMANTHA
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Fitness has always been a huge part of my life. It’s been a constant in a world of so much uncertainty. As a full time speech-language pathologist, I’m constantly coaching students and families. It’s that passion for supporting others and love of fitness that lead me becoming a certified personal trainer. Some days it’ll be hard, but on those days choose to do it anyway. I’ll be there to cheer you on! I look forward to working with you!
